1. Young people are preparing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.

5. On July 26 and 27 we had a “State of the Church – Activities Update”. The exposition included a presentation of the St. Genevieve Historical Society. In this picture you can see a display of old clergy vestments and banners.
6. The exposition included also a recreation of an altar of the old St. Genevieve church. In this picture you can see the old monstrance, candle stands, a crucifix, and communion rail.
7. Fr. Ricardo Bauzá is wearing a beautiful vestment of the XIX century.
8. The presentation included a display of retablos which will be auctioned as a fundraiser for the new pews.
9. You can see Julia Holguin encouraging people to participate in the St. Genevieve Fiesta.
10. The St. Genevieve Historical Society is working hard to prepare the 150th anniversary.
11. Seminarian Christopher Williams is leading the project to create a reliquary.
12. Gloria Gonzalez is volunteering her time by polishing the black walnut for the reliquary.
13. The reliquary was made in three weeks. The whole project was designed by the providence of God.
14. This is the way the reliquary looks today. It includes the relics of St. Catherine of Siena, St. John Berchmans, St. Maria Goretti, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. John Neumann, St. Robert Bellarmine, St. Bartholomew Apostle, St. Pius X, St. Anthony of Padua, and splinters of the Cross of Jesus Christ.
