Christmas 2009

  1. The church’s sanctuary is decorated with traditional Christmas ponsettias.
  2. Our Advent Wreath shows that we are approaching Christmas!
  3. During the winter of 2009-2010 the mountains were covered with snow a few times.
  4. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is adorned with ponsettias.
  5. The traditional “Posadas” are celebrated in our parish. They include breaking the piñata.
  6. An illuminated nativity scene is in the balcony at the front of the church,.
  7. Parishioners attend the celebration of the Eucharist.

  9. Our altar is vested with a purple cloth to indicate a time of preparation.
