ANNOUNCEMENTS for July 31 & August 1, 2010
- The second collection today is for St. Vincent de Paul.
- There will be all day adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on First Friday, August 6th. Please sign up for an hour of prayer and reflection. First Friday Holy Hour will be at 5 p.m. followed by the 6 p.m. Mass in Spanish. First Saturday Rosary will be on August 7th, at 10 a.m.
- Everyone is invited to the consecration of our new altar during a special Mass with Bishop Ramirez at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10th. A brief concert by the Celebrant Singers will follow Mass.
- There will be an important altar servers meeting on Monday, August 9th from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to prepare for Mass with Bishop.
- The next Faith Environment Workshop in English will be on Saturday, August 7th, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon at St. Albert Newman Center.
- The Chinese Auction booth at the fiesta is accepting new kitchen, bathroom, and household items that can be used in gift baskets. Please bring items to the parish office.
- Please return Raffle ticket money and stubs to the parish office as soon as possible, or drop it in the collection basket in a separate envelope marked “raffle.” Tickets are also available after each Mass on the weekends.
- The deadline to place an ad in our fiesta book is August 20th. Please contact the parish office if you are interested.
- The St. Vincent de Paul Ministry is collecting school supplies for the needy. Donations can be dropped off at the parish office.
- Registration for Religious Education classes for children, youth, and RCIA will be held on Sunday, August 29th, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the parish hall.
