On June 6 the church celebrated the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church. Father Peter, in his homily, discusses worship and reverence in the form of Latria, Hyperdulia, and Dulia. Catholics do not worship (Latria) Mary but reserve that worship for God alone. Catholics have a reverence (Dulia) to the Saints and to Mary (Hyperdulia) in her role as Mother of God, the God Bearer, the Theotokos. Listen in as Fr. Peter explains:
